Mary Katherine (Riesselman) Youll, 64, died Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2019, in Bentonville, Ark.

She was born May 4, 1955, in Carroll, Iowa, to Vincent and Edith (Hoffman) Riesselman. She was a 1973 graduate of Sac City High School and a 1976 graduate of Saint Luke’s School of Nursing in Sioux City, Iowa.

She married John Youll on June 25, 1976, in Auburn, Iowa. She was a registered nurse at Hays Medical Center in Hays for many years. 

Her memories were of raising her three children in Salina, later in Hays, with her husband and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a devoted mother and grandmother who embraced every opportunity to spend quality time with family.  She was known for her awe-inspiring homemade costumes, harvesting pumpkins, and her cheering from the sidelines at their sporting events. She enjoyed gardening, baking, home decor, traveling and entertaining.

Survivors include her husband, of 43 years; two sons, John Youll and Jim Youll and wife, Katie; a daughter, Josie Herold and husband, Robbie; three brothers, Don, Jim, and Tom Riesselman; a sister, Jean Smith and husband, Scott; three grandchildren, Vincent Herold, Cooper Herold, and Madeline Youll; and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, at St. Stephen’s Catholic Church, Bentonville. 

A gathering will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Callison-Lough Funeral Home, Bentonville.

A rosary will be at 5 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
