Twila Landauer, 86, Salina, died Thursday, Oct. 10, 2019.
She was born Nov. 24, 1932, in Hays.
She taught CCD and worked as a cook at school for 25 years.
She enjoyed music, singing at church in the choir and dancing either polka or square dancing with her husband, Milfred, and her children. They would spend their winters in Mission, Texas, and met many people while traveling.
Survivors include a son, Warren Landauer, Salina; three daughters, Rhonda JoAnn “Rhoda” Wray and husband, Larry, Salina, Donna Mayes and husband, Ken, Fort Wayne, Ind., and Wanda Mitchell and husband, Steven, Vacaville, Calif.; a brother, Edward Rohr and wife, Charleen, Ellsworth; seven grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and twin sister, Lyla Lesser.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at St. Mary Queen of the Universe Catholic Church, Salina; burial in All Saints Catholic Cemetery, Salina.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Ryan Mortuary, Salina.
A vigil will be at 4 p.m. Friday at the mortuary.
Memorials are suggested to Masses or St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, in care of the mortuary.
