Judith Sandra Kent, 76, Norton, died Saturday, Feb. 1, 2020. 

She was born Aug. 13, 1943, in Denver to Joseph and Anita Senter.

She and her husband, Charley Thomas Kent, moved to Norton from the Denver area in 1985, and owned the pool hall on State Street for several years. Afterward he worked for the school district and she was a homemaker. She was a member of American Legion and had many friends they went dancing, playing card and throwing darts. She moved into Dawson Place in Hill City where she lived since 2009. 

Survivors include a son, Derek and wife, Sue; a daughter, Jolene Ward and husband, Mike; two brothers, Marvin and Jerald “Buz”; a sister, JoAnne; four grandchildren, Brenda, Jeffrey and wife, Katie, Jordan and wife, Jessica, and Kelsey Kuehn; and six great-grandchildren, Savannah, Aspen, Sonny, Zayden, Myla and Eliana. 

She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years; a daughter Denise; and a brother Jim. 

Graveside services will be Tuesday in Norton Cemetery.
