Marjorie May Rohr, 81, died Wednesday, March 18, 2020, at Rhode Island Suites, Ransom.

She was born May 15, 1938 in Dighton to Carl and Rosa (Michel) Cheney.

She married Leonard Rohr on April 14, 1958, in Dighton. He preceded her in death March 2, 2012. She was a secretary for C and R Salvage and a homemaker.

She was a member of the Sunflower Polka Club and WaKeeney Eagle’s Auxiliary No. 3774.

Survivors include two daughters-in-law, Judy Rohr, Ness City, and Betty Rohr, Marian, Iowa; a sister, Phyllis Thon, Colby; five grandchildren, Jennifer (Loren) Pfeifer and Joseph Rohr, all of WaKeeney, Justin Rohr, Goodland, Anthony Rohr, Minneapolis, Minn., Katrina (Ben) Jelinek, Colorado Springs, Colo.; a step-grandchild, Tracie (Edgar) Padilla, Spring, Texas; a great-grandchild, Alex Pfeifer, WaKeeney; and two step-great-grandchildren, Nicole Padilla and Sarah Padilla, both of Spring, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, James Jacob Rohr and Thomas Carl Rohr; and a nephew, Lance Bryant.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Ness City; burial in St. Aloysius Cemetery.

Friends can call from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday with the family present from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Memorial are suggested to Rhode Island Suites or the American Diabetes Association, in care of the funeral home.
