Jean Roth, 89, Victoria, died Monday, April 27, 2020, at her home in Victoria.

She was born March 1, 1931, in Sandy Lake, Manitoba, Canada to Prokop and Sophie (Shewchuk) Millenchuk. She grew up on a farm outside of Sandy Lake. Jean went to Mount Calm Grade School and attended high school in Sandy Lake and Neepawa, graduating from Neepawa. She attended Saint Boniface School of Nursing in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.

She married Bernard Everett Roth on Nov. 15, 1958, in Sandy Lake, Manitoba. He preceded her in death Dec. 25, 2015. She was a licensed practical nurse surgical nurse, respiratory therapist and home health care nurse for over 50 years. She nursed in Glendive, Mont., where she met Bernie. After their marriage, they moved to Denver, Sidney, Neb., Vernal, Utah, Casper, Wyo., and Williston, N.D. In 1990, when her husband retired, they moved to Victoria.

She was a member of The Basilica of St. Fidelis and Daughters of Isabella, both of Victoria.

Survivors include four sons, Tom Roth, Victoria, Chris Roth and wife, Kara, Fort Collins, Colo., Joe Roth and wife, Christine, Russell and John Roth and Annie Kepler, Casper, Wyo.; a daughter, Margie Dreiling, Schoenchen; a sister, Marika and husband, Jim McDonald, Calgary, Alberta, Canada; nine grandchildren, Ryan Roth and fiancé, Paige Bailey, Nicholas Dreiling and fiancé, Jenn Philip-Rome, Sara (Kyle) Zimmerman, Jacob Roth and Samuel Roth, Brock Spaulding (Karley), Madison Roth and Andrew Roth, Calum Kepler; and four great-granddaughters, Abigail Zimmerman and Ellie Zimmerman, Mindy Dreiling, Katherine Spaulding and one on the way.

She was preceded in death by a son-in-law, David Dreiling; three brothers, Steve Millenchuk, John Millenchuk, Paul Millenchuk; four sisters, Rose Lewandoski, Lena Norosky, Ann Soltys, Pearl Polson.

Due to the COVID-19 virus, a private family funeral Mass will be held at a later date at The Basilica of St. Fidelis, Victoria; inurnment in St. Fidelis Cemetery, Victoria.

Memorials are suggested to The Basilica of St. Fidelis, Victoria.
