Kathryn “Kay” (Gross) VonLintel, 76, Victoria, died Wednesday, April 29, 2020, at her home.


She was born Sept. 9, 1943, in Hays to Joseph and Rose (Pfannenstiel) Gross. She attended Munjor Grade School and was a 1961 graduate of Hays High School.


She married Allen “Dennis” VonLintel on Oct. 20, 1962, in Munjor. She was a homemaker, farmer’s wife, worked at A Bride’s World and Werth Plumbing, both in Hays.


She was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church and Christian Mothers, both of Vincent.


She enjoyed fishing, polka dancing, crocheting, cooking, football, KU basketball, her family and grandkids.


Survivors include her husband, of the home; three sons, Chris VonLintel and wife, Phyllis, Darin VonLintel and wife, Jennifer, and Loren VonLintel and wife, Trisha, all of Victoria, a daughter, Sue Hobbs, and husband, Terry, Victoria; two brothers, Vernon Gross and wife, Jeannie, Hays, and Jerry Gross and wife, Sylvia, Munjor; three sisters, JoAnn Dreiling and husband, Norman, Geraldine Kindel, and husband, Don, Victoria and Mary Anderson and husband, Troy, Victoria; a sister-in-law, Linda Gross, Munjor; nine grandchildren, Curtis VonLintel (Brandi), Cody VonLintel and fiancÚ, (Chelsea Day), Zach VonLintel and fiancÚ, (Sarah Kuhn), Hanna VonLintel and fiancÚ, (Lucas Taylor), Amanda Ingham (Jacob), Kelsey Rollmann (Cody), Tanner Hobbs, Bailey Hobbs, Autumn VonLintel; 10 great- grandchildren, Kylie VonLintel, Kameron and Kolton Emerson and one on the way (Wyatt), Bennett VonLintel, Ainslee, Maxx, and Ridge Ingham, Breckyn Prosser; Braedyn and Braxtyn Rollmann.


She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Harold Gross and wife, Viola, Kenny Gross and wife, Shirley, Leon Gross and wife, Joyce and Les Gross; a sister, Patty Dreiling and husband, Vernie.


A private family graveside service will be in St. Fidelis Cemetery, Victoria.


Family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at St. Boniface Parish, Vincent.
