Katherine Louise Weber, 94, of Oakley, left this world on Sunday, May 17, 2020, to meet the Lord and those who have gone before her. She passed away at home, surrounded by her loving family. Katie was born August 28, 1925, in St. Peter, KS, to Balthasar and Margareth (Rohleder) Brungardt. She grew up on a farm near St. Peter and had many wonderful and challenging times growing up. After Celey passed away on January 13, 1970, Katie continued to expand the family farm. Raising, loving and providing for her children was one of her many joys. Family time was very important, with many hours of fun games, travel and visiting. Katie served as an officer and member of the Grinnell Immaculate Conception Church Altar Society. Through life’s challenges, Katie kept a positive outlook and a big smile. Her faith in the Lord helped her throughout her lifetime.
