Glenda Rae Tiffin, 84, Russell, died on Tuesday, May 19, 2020, at Smoky Hill Health and Rehabilitation in Salina.
Glenda was born on Jan. 14, 1936, in Blue Rapids to Harry and Mildred (Fletcher) Nance. She grew up in Marysville and graduated from Marysville High School in 1954.
She married Donald Glen Tiffin on Sept. 1, 1979, in Lincoln. He preceded her in death on May 4, 2014.
Survivors include her son, Greg Wassenberg of Salina, Kansas; step-son Donald E. Tiffin; step-daughter Janet M. Garrett; 3 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
A graveside celebration of Glenda's life will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 23, 2020, at the Russell City Cemetery with burial following. Viewing will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, May 22, 2020, at the mortuary. Memorials may be given to the Smoky Hill Health and Rehab Memory Unit and sent in care of the mortuary. Pohlman-Varner-Peeler Mortuary, Russell, is in charge of the funeral service arrangements.
