Richard L. Lewis, 80, Henderson, Nev., died Tuesday, June 2, 2020, in Henderson.
 He was born Dec. 10, 1939, in Russell to Joseph Victor and Edna Ruth Lewis. He completed a master's degree in mathematics from Pittsburg State University.

He transitioned to college administration where he enjoyed working as the Registrar at several Universities in Texas, South Dakota, and Arkansas.

Survivors include two sons, Michael Lewis and Steve Lewis, both of Fayetteville, Ark.; two brothers, Robert Lewis, Yuba City, Calif., and Jack Lewis, Dallas; four grandchildren; and a few great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. June 26 in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery, Russell. Cremation has been selected and family will greet guests the day of the service at the cemetery.
