Renee Mary (Shreve) Zodrow, 71, died Sunday, Oct. 11, 2020, at Logan County Hospital.


She was born Dec.12, 1949, in Colby to Marie (Rodenbeck) and Pete Shreve. She grew up south of Colby and graduated from Colby High School.


She married Joseph Zodrow on June 17, 1972 in Leoville. She was a registered nurse while raising her family. Her nursing career started in Colby and moved to Oberlin. After retirement, she even worked for a brief period in Oakley.


She was a member of Immaculate Conception Parish, Leoville where she was a member of the Altar Society.


She enjoyed animals and riding motorcycles with her husband.


Survivors include her husband, Joe; three daughters, Aimee and Mike Zimmerman and Cassie Zodrow and Dave Flipse, all of Oakley and Rebecca Flora and Hubert Linenberger, Hays; seven grandchildren, Cole, Jenna, Kade, and Cody Zimmerman, Wayne and Caleb Flipse, and Madeline Williams; three great-grandchildren, Jax and Zoe Flipse and Cooper Williams; two sisters-in-law, Pat and Ed Conard and Sharon and Keith Karnes; and two brothers-in-law, Tom and Michelle Zodrow, and Paul Zodrow.


She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Sandy; her mother-in-law, Mary Ann Zodrow; her father-in-law, Conrad Zodrow; and son-in-law, Dane Flora.


Survivors include her husband, Joe; three daughters, Aimee and Mike Zimmerman and Cassie Zodrow and Dave Flipse, all of Oakley and Rebecca Flora and Hubert Linenberger, Hays; seven grandchildren, Cole, Jenna, Kade, and Cody Zimmerman, Wayne and Caleb Flipse, and Madeline Williams; three great-grandchildren, Jax and Zoe Flipse and Cooper Williams; two sisters-in-law, Pat and Ed Conard and Sharon and Keith Karnes; and two brothers-in-law, Tom and Michelle Zodrow, and Paul Zodrow.


Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Immaculate Conception Church, Leoville; burial in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Leoville.


Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the church.


A vigil will be at 4 p.m. Sunday at the church.
