Floyd Edward Schuckman, 88, died Sunday, Nov.15, 2020, at Grisell Memorial Hospital, Ransom.


He was born Oct. 3, 1932, in McCracken to Alexander and Anna (Schaeffer) Schuckman. He graduated from the Arnold High School.


He was a member of St. Aloysius Church and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7972, both of Ransom.


He married Marie Ketzner on May 20, 1952, in Ransom. She preceded him in death July 25, 1999. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran during the Korean war. He did farming and ranching.


Survivors include a son, Wayne Schuckman and wife, Cindy, Ransom; two daughters, Janet Faroh and her husband, Craig, of Colwich and Pamela McCoy and husband, Donald "Chip", Enid, Okla.; three sisters, Velma Bauer and husband, Charlie, Lyons, Darlene LaBute, Hays and Dorothy (Kenneth) McCabe, Council Grove; six grandchildren, Christopher (Amanda) Schuckman, Manhattan, Melissa Schuckman, Kansas City, Mo., Lacey Schuckman, Manhattan, Jeremy (Christina) McCoy, Stillwater, Okla., Ryan (Megan) McCoy, Owasso, Okla., and Chad (Jessica) McCoy, Edmond, Okla.; and 11 great-grandchildren, Tayton Brown, Joshua McCoy, Harper Schuckman, Kinley Schuckman, Allison McCoy, Jacob McCoy, Brooks McCoy, Caleb McCoy, Nora McCoy, Evan McCoy, and Tabor McCoy.


He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Melvin Schuckman.


Graveside services will be at noon Saturday in St. Aloysius Cemetery, Ransom.


Viewing will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday with family present from 5 to 7 p.m. at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Ness City.
