On Tuesday, July 28th, 2020, Alan DeWitt Beougher stepped into the presence of the Lord at the age of 74. Alan was born on January 19th, 1946 at the family farm South of Oakley, Ks to Charles DeWitt and Edna Faye (Gibson) Beougher.
He married the love of his life, Sharon Lorraine Cameron, on June 14th, 1964, in Colby KS, at the United Methodist Church. Together they were blessed with five children, Mark Alan and Stephanie Diane, who passed shortly after birth, two sons Joel Andrew II, James Jay, and daughter Monica Ranée.
Alan spent his life on the farm that he thoroughly loved. He was an avid hunter and fisherman who was most at home taking care of his cows, working on the farm, and being outdoors. Spending time with his wife of 56 years, kids, grandkids, and many friends was his greatest joy.
Everyone who knew Alan enjoyed his teasing and ornery sense of humor. He always had a smile, laugh, and encouraging words for everyone. Alan shared his love for the Lord every day in thought, word, and deed.
He was preceded in death by two children Mark and Stephanie Beougher, his parents and sister.
He is survived by his wife Sharon L, of the home.; children, Joel Beougher and wife Sharon E, of Hays KS, Monica Mader and husband Justin, of Burlington KS and James Beougher and friend Joni Godenir, both of Stockton KS and grandchildren, Stephanie, Brett, and Christine Beougher, Levi and Mary Mader and Payton Beougher and Fiancé Colton Derr.
