Pamala Sue “Pam” Erickson, 60, Russell, died Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2020, at Hays Medical Center.
She was born Oct. 12, 1959, in Great Bend to Ronald E. “Ron” and Alfreda J. “Freda” (Foos) Broetzmann. She was a graduate of North Central Kansas Technical College. She received a bachelor’s degree in human resource management and a master’s degree in adult educations. She grew up in Garden City and was a 1977 graduate of Goodland High School.
She married Ronald Blau. She later married Ken Erickson on Nov. 12, 2016, in Russell. She was the director of the Physicians Clinic at Russell Regional Hospital before she retired, past director of the First Call for Help in Hays and a licensed practical nurse. She was a graduate of North Central Kansas Technical College.
She enjoyed family, grandchildren and her pets.
Survivors include her husband, of the home; a son, Josh Blau, Overland Park; a daughter, Chelsee Hoffman and husband, Daniel, Russell; two stepsons, Jason Erickson, Liberty Lake, Wash., Jordan Erickson and wife, Michelle, Los Balnon, Calif.; a sister, Lori Hertel and husband, Stan, Hays; her mother-in-law, Margaret Stedman, Oberlin; two grandchildren, Bailee and Landry Hoffman; and a step-grandchild, Elias Erickson.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Ronald Craig Broetzman; a nephew, Steven Lee Hertel; a niece, Ana Hertel; and her father-in-law, Phil Erickson.
Services were Sept. 5, 2020, at Cline’s-Keithley Mortuary of Hays, 1919 E. 22nd, Hays, KS 67601; burial in Mount Allen Cemetery, Hays.
