Judith Karen Dinkel , 75, Hays, died Monday, Sept. 14, 2020, at Rooks County Health Center, Plainville.
She was born Jan. 30, 1945, in Colby to William and Esther (Yenick) Ryan. She grew up in Colby and was a graduate of Colby High School.
She married Laren Dinkel in 1962 in Hays. He preceded her in death May 13, 2011. She was a phlebotomist for 25 years working in Colorado and for Quest Labs in Hays. She lived in Denver for a number of years and retired in 2009. She moved to Plainville in 2012 until moving to Hays this year.
She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Plainville.
Survivors include a son, Sean Dinkel, Hays; a daughter, Gian Marie Dinkel, Westminster, Colo.; three sisters, Jan Bainter and husband, Warren, Oberlin, Marj Cheney, Syracuse and Marilyn Ryan, Wichita; and several nephews and nieces.
Service will be held at a later date due to the COVID-19 restrictions and
Inurnment will be in Colby Cemetery.
