Barbara Wolf, 68, Ellis, died Friday Oct. 23, 2020, at her home in Ellis.
She was born Nov. 6,1951, to Shorty and Edna Kuhn. She grew up in Ellis and was a 1969 graduate of Ellis High School and attended Fort Hays State University.
She married Brian Wolf on Aug. 5, 1970, in Ellis. She worked more than 25 years for Hays Internal Medicine Group as a medical billing and coding specialist.
She enjoyed her grandchildren, attending sporting events, dance recitals and taking them for fun filled adventures on weekends. She enjoyed making treats and attending school parties. Her hobbies included reading, sewing for people, baking for weddings, birthdays, and many other occasions and spending time with her husband raising Greyhounds.
Survivors include her husband, Ellis; two sons, Jeff and wife, Tammy, Ellis and Lee and wife, Stephanne, Chapman; two sisters, Benita Cox and husband, Glen, Wichita and Judy White and husband, Ralph, Salina; seven grandchildren, LexAnne Wolf, Hays, Levi Wolf, Ellis, Morgan Wolf, Chapman, Taylor Scoggins, Abilene, Peyton Kitchens, Emporia, Spencer Crist, Coal City, Ill., and Nia Carroll, Las Vegas; two great- granddaughters, Korbyn and Skylar Crist , Coal City; and four great-grandsons, Mason Durant, Abilene, Landon, Maddox, and Jenson Carroll, Las Vegas.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Keithley Funeral Chapel, 400 E. 17th, Ellis, KS 67637; burial will be family only.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral chapel.
Wearing masks will be required at the visitation and funeral service.
Memorials are suggested to the Humane Society of the High Plains in care of the funeral chapel.
