Rose Mary “Rosie” (Comeau) Karlin, 91, Hays, died Monday, Nov. 9, 2020, at her home.
She was born Feb. 11, 1929, in Hays to Alphonse and Ida (Cardinal) Comeau.
She married Arthur Charles Karlin on Sept. 7, 1948, at St Joseph Church, Hays. She was an operator for Southwestern Bell. After retirement, she became a Mary Kay consultant.
She was a member of Telephone Pioneers of America and St. Joseph Catholic Church.
She enjoyed gardening, playing bridge and traveling with her family. She enjoyed visiting with friends and family especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, Hays; two sons, Robert J. Karlin and wife, Jane, Sugarland, Texas and Thomas E. Karlin and wife, Lindy, Lincoln, Neb.; a daughter, Susan Pfannenstiel, Apple Valley, Minn.; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; eight brothers and five sisters.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at St Joseph Catholic Church, Hays; burial in the parish cemetery.
Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Friday at the church.
A rosary will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the church.

The family respectfully requests that all attendees wear masks. Regretfully, due to Covid 19, there will not be a luncheon gathering following the service.
