Jeremy David Seib, 43, Hays, died Saturday, Nov. 14, 2020, at Hays Medical Center.
He was born June 29, 1977, in Hays to Don and Janice (Stramel) Seib. He grew up in Munjor, attended Munjor Grade School, and was a 1995 graduate of Hays High School where he played football.
He worked at ELI Wireline Service in Hays.
He was known as Doob to his friends, was an avid football fan and followed the Denver Broncos.
He enjoyed cooking, especially BBQ, and participated in a number of contests with his friends, frequently taking top honors.
Survivors include his parents, Munjor; two sisters, Annette Thorpe and husband, Tom, Colorado Springs, Colo., Sarah Leiker and husband, Jerrett, Munjor; his grandparents, Tony and Wilma (Stecklein) Seib, Munjor; two nephews, Logan and Zachary Leiker; two nieces, Lauren Thorpe and Brooke Leiker; and many uncles and aunts.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Leo and Hubertine (Urban) Stramel; his uncle, Leslie Stramel and wife, Catherine; and his aunt, JoAnn Billinger.
Due to the COVID-19 restrictions memorial services will be held at a later date and inurnment will be in St. Francis Cemetery, Munjor.
