Minnie Keller, 101, Ellis, died Saturday, Nov. 21, 2020, at Good Samaritan Society. Ellis.
She was born June 23, 1919, in Ellis County to Frank and Carrie (Wendling) Keller.
She married Gerhard Keller on Nov. 5, 1942. He preceded her in death Oct. 7, 1980. She worked at the Plainville hospital until her retirement. After retirement, she stayed active working at the Palco Café.
She enjoyed Palco and was known to walk throughout the town and visit with the residents. She enjoyed flower gardening, birds and specially Halloween and dressing up for it.
She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church and St. John Lutheran Church.
Survivors include a son, Gerald Keller, Kansas City, Kan.; two grandchildren, Brenda Schumacher and husband, Bruce, Lawrence and Mark Armbrister and wife, Crystal, Ellis; and four greatgrandchildren, Katelyn and Cole Schumacher and Logan and Morgan Armbrister.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Carolyn Armbrister; two brothers, Oscar and Arthur ; and four sisters, Freda, Irene, Helen and Martha.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Keithley Funeral Chapel, 400 E. 17th, Ellis, KS 67637; burial in Mount Hope Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until time of service Tuesday at the funeral chapel.
All attending will be expected to wear masks and observe all Covid appropriate precautions. For those who are not comfortable with the regulations or being in a confined setting please use the guest book to express your condolences to the family.
