Harm Lipton Briery, 96, Hoxie, died Saturday Dec. 5, 2020, at the Sheridan County Health Complex Long Term Care Unit, Hoxie.
He was born Nov. 17, 1924, to Lester W. and Hazel C. (Crum) Briery.
He married Cleo Hatten on Oct. 13, 1946, in Kanarado.
Survivors include two sons, Ronald Briery, Norton and Rick Briery, Corvallis, Mont.; two daughters, Pamela Bryant, Bellevue, Wash., and Debra Briery, Kerrville, Texas; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Mickey-Leopold Funeral Home, Hoxie; burial in Hoxie City Cemetery with military honors by The Grinnell Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 2864 and Kansas Army National Guard.
Visitation will be from noon to 6 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. The funeral and visitation are open to all who wish to attend. The family thanks you for wearing a mask to the funeral.
Memorials are suggested to the Sheridan County Amusement Company-Hoxie or the Hoxie Main Street Arts Council, in care of the funeral home.
