Christina Linn Bourland, 52, Russell, died Sunday, Dec. 6, 2020, at her home, from COVID-19.
She was born Jan. 18, 1968, in Cheyenne Wells, Colo., to Oscar and Bonnie (Baehler) Fuentez. She was a 1986 graduate of Wallace County High School, an associate in arts degree from Dodge City Community College and a bachelor of science degree from Wichita State University in 1991. She furthered her education earning a master of science in communication disorders/speech language pathology from Fort Hays State University in 1995.
She was a speech pathologist for USD 407 for 19 years.
Survivors include two daughters, Danielle Bourland and Christianna Pruden; a stepdaughter, Tiffany Boardman-Bourland; a sister, Regina Gronewoller; a brother Joseph Fuentez ; and a grandson.
Cremation has been selected by the family. There will be no public service at this time but will be planned for the future. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday at Pohlman-Varner-Peeler Mortuary, Russell.
