Helen Johnson, 100, Denver, died Sunday, December 13, 2020, in Denver.
She was born Oct. 12, 1920 near Atwood to Joseph and Viola (Grout) Pancake.
Helen married Kermit Johnson on May 29, 1943 in Colby and Jack Kent in 2005.
She was an elementary school teacher.
She was preceded in death by her husbands; grandsons: Clint Johnson and Christopher Johnson; siblings: Joseph Pancake, Jr., Vera Knudson, Marjorie Ramge, Nina Jensen, Alfred Pancake and Delmar Pancake.
Survivors include a daughter, Rose Castle of Denver; five sons: Bill Johnson (Darlene) of Berthoud, Colo., Don Johnson (Donna) of Lawrence, Andy Johnson (Debi) of Grand Junction, Colo., Steve Johnson (Jil) of Great Bend, and Walter Johnson (Georgia) of Healy; 14 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and six great-great grandchildren; and brother, Warren Pancake of Dayville, Or.
Graveside service is 2:30 p.m., Friday, Dec. 18, 2020 at Gove Cemetery, Gove for family and the public. No Visitation. A Celebration of Helen’s Life will be at a later date.
