Brenda Lea Wolf, 59, Grinnell, died Saturday, Jan. 23, 2021.
She was born Feb. 5, 1961, in WaKeeney to Lawrence and Frances (Rohr) Coker. She was a 1980 graduate of Grinnell High School in 1980 and a 1981 graduate of Colby Community College.
She married Steve Wolf on Aug. 10, 1985. She worked at the Logan County Sheriff’s Office, and CD Clark & Sons, in Oakley and was a homemaker and enjoyed caring for her family. She volunteered at Grinnell schools as a cook and worked at Hometown grocery as the cook.
She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church, Grinnell and the Altar Society. She was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary, where she served as treasurer of the Grinnell Auxiliary and was a member of the Hutchinson V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary.
She enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, Grinnell; a son, Brandon Wolf and wife, Sarah, Colby; two sisters, Cynthia Ortman and husband, Dave, Mankato and Marie Taylor and husband, Don, St. John; two grandchildren, Bailey and Axten Wolf; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Ashley Wolf; an infant brother, Timothy Coker; her mother-in-law, Marlene Wolf; her uncle, Gary Coker; and two infant children.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Immaculate Conception Church, Grinnell; burial in the church cemetery. Social distancing and masks are required.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Immaculate Conception Parish Center, Grinnell.
A vigil will be at 7 p.m. Thursday at the parish center.
Memorials are suggested to the Northwest KS Special Olympics or to her grandchildren’s education fund in care of Baalmann Mortuary, Oakley.
