Rowan Edward Camp, 81, Russell, died Thursday, March 4, 2021, at Valley Baptist Medical Center, Harlingen, Texas.
He was born May 5, 1939, in Natoma, to Elmer Martin and Maggie Gladys (Rubble) Camp. He was a 1957 graduate of Natoma High School and attended Emporia State University.
He married Patricia Ann Waudby on Nov. 26, 1960, in Gorham. He was a farmer.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, of the home; two daughters, Sheila A. Kuntzsch, Bunker Hill, and Stacie E. Mendenhall, Emporia, Kansas; eight grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Sandra K. Blundon.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the St. Mary, Queen of Angels Catholic Church, Russel; burial in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery, Russell.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday at Pohlman-Varner-Peeler Mortuary, Russell.
A vigil/rosary service will be at 7 p.m. Thursday at the church.
Memorials are suggested to St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church in care of the mortuary.
