Patricia Anne Pierce, daughter of Henry F and Edith L (Campbell) Pierce was born on April 2, 1946 in Kansas City, Missouri.
Her death occurred September 19, 2022 at Meadowbrook Rehabilitation Hospital, Gardner, Kansas at the age of 76.
Patricia lived her early life in Hays, Kansas. On November 18, 1964 she was united in marriage to Henry Mason Sellers at Hays, Kansas. This union was blessed with three children: Margaret, Christine and Katherine.
Patricia occupied her life with the many activities of a homemaker, housewife, mother and grandmother. She made the family home in several communities in Kansas while traveling with her family until 1987 when Henry and Patricia moved to Manhattan, Kansas until 2002 when Patricia moved to Russell, Kansas until 2019 when she was moved to Gardner, Kansas to live out her life.
She enjoyed playing the piano for her children and grandchildren and having holidays with her family. She also enjoyed researching family genealogy and creating a variety of food dishes. She played the piano for musical productions in Singapore and Manhattan, Kansas.
She was a member of the Episcopal Church. Those who preceded her in death were her parents, Henry and (Edith) Lorraine Pierce and two great-granddaughters, Meredith and Macy.
Survivors are Henry Sellers of Russell, Kansas, daughters: Margaret Sellers of Kansas City, Missouri, Christine Sellers of Russell, Kansas and Katherine Sellers of Russell, Kansas. Also surviving are her granddaughters: Angela (Miller) Meyer and her husband, Patrick of Adrian, Missouri, Jamie Crawford of St. John, Kansas, Randi Steinle of Yukon, Oklahoma and Chandler (Reich) Sellens and her husband, Jake of Russell, Kansas. Her great grandchildren: Edwin, Porter, Veda, Reese and Adler. Her brother, Henry Pierce and his wife MaryLynn of Ohio and her sister MaryBeth Sayre and her husband Larry of Texas and a number of other relatives.
On Monday, October 17, 2022 at 11 a.m. family and friends will gather at Brock’s-Keithley Funeral Chapel located at 2509 Vine Street, Hays, Kansas 67601 for a celebration of Patricia’s life. Patricia will be buried at Mount Allen Cemetery, Hays, Kansas.
