. Randal “Randy” Ames Olson went to his heavenly home on January 29, 2022 at Medical City Hospital in Arlington, Texas at the age of 68. Randy was born on October 11, 1953 in Atwood, Kansas to Alden “Hank” and Macalene (Barnhart) Olson. Both preceded him in death.
He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Peggy Olson; four brothers, Dave Olson married to Marty, Kent Olson married to Karen, Rick Olson, and Greg Olson married to Sandee; three children, Jared Olson married to Heather, Rebecca Miller married to Shawn, and Keri Olson; three stepchildren, Ryan Andregg, Justin Andregg married to Dana, and Kristin Andregg married to Alisa Ayres; eight grandchildren, Ethen Olson, Caleb Olson, Hannah Miller, Gracelyn Miller, Mykah Andregg, Avery Andregg, Brendon Andregg, and Ryleigh Andregg; and several nieces and nephews.
He spent many years running his own plumbing business, worked at Home Depot for 17 years and also enjoyed working at a putt-putt golf course. He loved spending time with his family, playing cards, golfing and camping. He also enjoyed working with kids at the Home Depot workshop events and being involved with the Boy Scouts organization for many years.
