The Fort Hays State University softball team picked up a non-conference sweep Tuesday of NAIA member Central Christian College.
The Tigers picked up 4-1 and 7-1 wins to push their record to 22-21.
Katie Adler, Bailey Boxberger and Elise Capra each collected two-hit games in the opener, while Grace Philop drove in a pair of runs with a triple in the third inning to make it 2-0 FHSU.
Megan Jamison picked up the win in the six-inning start with Michaelanne Nelson grabbing the save. Jamison gave up one earned run on six hits, with no walks and no strikeouts. Nelson struck out one in one inning to notch her first save.
Hailey Chapman pitched four innings in the nightcap to grab the win. She got help from nine FHSU hits.
Boxberger drove in three runs, while Sara Breckbill drove in two. Philop collected three hits and scored twice.
FHSU will head to Wichita today for a 3 p.m. doubleheader against Newman University.
