The Hays High golf team won the Great Bend Invitational on Monday at Stoneridge Golf Course, edging Garden City by two strokes.

Hays High posted three top-10 finishes. Tradgon McCrae took second place with a 74, finishing three shots behind individual champion Sion Audrain.

Jason Krannawitter was fourth for the Indians with a 77 while Hays' Josh Norris took sixth with an 81.

The Indians compiled a team score of 316. Garden City recorded a 318, followed by Great Bend (343), Dodge City (354) and Liberal (414).

Wesley Oakley took 12th for Hays High with an 84, while Tucker Johnson (90) placed 16th and Weston Hoskins (104) was 26th.

Up next for the Indians is the Liberal Invitational on May 7.
