"I'm pleased with what we did," TMP coach Cody Marintzer said. "There's some good and bad that we'll take out of it. Everybody had to battle the same conditions. Sometimes the different conditions hit people different obviously.

"It's definitely wonderful to get this meet in and get through it and have everybody be here," he added. "We love everybody that comes here. Once (the home meet is done) we can worry about coaching and not have to worry about running a meet."

TMP's Grace Pope won the freshmen/sophomore girls race in 22:34.2 while Sophia Allen and Whitney Befort placed ninth and 15th in that race for the Monarchs, respectively.

In the boys freshmen/sophomore race, TMP's Braydon Binder placed third in 19:11.6. TMP's Christopher Isbel was 10th.
