MINNEAPOLIS — The Thomas More Prep-Marian football team was held to just 82 yards of offense in a 34-8 loss at Minneapolis on Friday night.
The Monarchs, who dropped to 1-6 overall and 0-4 in Class 2A district play, allowed 34 unanswered points before finally getting on the road with a 1-yard touchdown run from Kade Harris in the fourth quarter.
Daniel Watson and Derek Freel had two touchdowns apiece for the Lions, who moved to 3-4 overall and 1-3 in district play.
Harris went 2 of 8 through the air for 44 yards with three interceptions. He ran for 21 yards on 15 carries. The Monarchs managed just five first downs.
The Monarchs will play host to Ellsworth on Thursday night at Lewis Field Stadium.
