Thomas More Prep-Marian sophomores Emilee Lane and Kassidi Yost earned first-team spots on the All-Mid Continent League volleyball team released this week.
Lane led the Monarchs in kills, averaging 5.3 a set, while Yost averaged 8.2 assists per set as the Monarchs’ setter.
TMP went 33-7 on the season.
Lane and Yost were joined on the first team by Smith Center’s Bree Frieling and Tallon Rentschler, Hoxie’s Addison Campbell and WaKeeney-Trego’s Lili Shubert.
The second team was comprised of Phillipsburg’s Kylie Solida, Meredith Jacobs and Heather Schemper, Norton’s Tayli Hartwell and Avery Miller, and Smith Center’s Lizzy Pfortmiller.
Honorable mention went to Plainville’s Brooklyn Staab and Aubree Dewey, Norton’s Tessa Hauser, Phillipsburg’s Meg Keeten, Hoxie’s Macy Schamberger and Smith Center’s Jessalyn Kirchhoff.
