The No. 13-ranked Fort Hays State women's basketball team will look to push its win streak to eight when the Tigers face No. 15 Emporia State on 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at Gross Memorial Coliseum.

FHSU (13-2, 4-2 MIAA) picked up a 71-69 come-from-behind at Rogers State this past Saturday while Emporia State (12-2, 5-0 MIAA) is coming off a 74-70 home victory over Missouri Western. The  Tigers will look to avenge a 73-69 loss they suffered to the Hornets on Dec. 7 in Emporia.

The ESU women are led by Tre'Jure Zobe's 17.7 points per game, ranking second in the MIAA. Belle Barbieri (11.6 points per game), Jaden Hobbs (11.5), Kacey Kennett (11.0) and Taylor Rolfs (10.9) lead a balanced scoring attack for the Tigers.

Following the women's game, the Fort Hays State men will look to notch its first MIAA win of the season. FHSU is sitting 0-6 in conference play following Saturday's 68-58 loss to Rogers State. The Hornet men enter 9-5 overall and 3-2 in the MIAA, picking up an 81-68 win over Missouri Western last time out.

The FHSU men (6-8 overall) are led by Jared Vitztum's 12.1 points per game. He's joined in double figures by Devin Davis (11.5 ppg), Jake Hutchings (10.7) and Nyjee Wright (10.2).

The Emporia State men are paced by Jumah'Ri Turner's 15.7 points per game.

The Tigers will play another in-state rival on Saturday, playing host to Washburn.
