GARDEN CITY — The Hays High boys basketball team remained unbeaten in Western Athletic Conference play, using a strong second half to notch a 50-36 road win over Garden City on Friday night.

Dalyn Schwarz led the Tigers with 13 while T.J. Nunnery added 11 and Jason Krannawitter 10.

The HHS boys moved to 6-2 overall and 3-0 in WAC play.

The Indian girls couldn’t sustain a strong start, falling to 54-40 to the Buffaloes. Hays dropped to 2-6 overall and 1-2 in WAC play.

The Indians will take part in the Orange and Black Classic next week in Colby.
