Due to a less-than-ideal weekend forecast, the Fort Hays State baseball team has adjusted game dates and start times for the series against second-ranked Central Missouri. The Tigers and Mules will meet at Larks Park for a doubleheader beginning at 1 p.m. on Thursday (March 12) before wrapping things up with the series finale at noon Friday (March 13). All three games are scheduled for nine innings.

The Tigers enter the series 11-11 overall and 1-5 in MIAA play, while the Mules are 18-3 on the year and 6-0 in league action. With top-ranked Angelo State dropping a pair of games last week, UCM could climb to No. 1 in the nation when the updated polls are released later this week. The Mules last came to Hays as the top-ranked team in the country in 2012, when the Tigers took three out of four games in the series.
