After rain pushed the event back a week, the Nickerson Invitational proceeded on Tuesday at Trinity Catholic High School.

Buhler went 3-0 in all four divisions to cap off a dominant day.
At No. 1 singles, Taegen Nickel won a pair of 6-0 matches, but Nickerson’s Olivia Rome did provide a formidable test, with Nickel prevailing 6-4.
Sienna Douglas played No. 2 singles for the Crusaders and won her three matches by a combined 18-1 score.
Buhler’s No. 1 doubles team of Kayleigh Hamby and Brynlee Frank outlasted Haven’s Amie Yoder and Carlee Arnold, 6-4, and won their other two matches by 6-0 scores.
Nikita Mehlhorn and Libby Schaffer rounded out the Buhler lineup at No. 2 doubles, winning their three matches by scores of 6-3, 6-1 and 6-1.

At No. 2 singles, Zoe Coonce was also 2-1 for second for Nickerson. Coonce defeated Haven’s Cassidy Peterson, 6-1, and Pratt’s Selena Bale, 6-0.
Nickerson’s No. 1 doubles team of Alyssa Rosenberg and Lanaya Hada were victorious over Pratt, 6-1, and Haven, 6-3, but fell to Buhler’s top tandem.
The No. 2 doubles team for Nickerson of Ria Shah and Jolie Shultz went 1-2, with their victory coming against Pratt, 6-1.
